Film Project (Figure)

Figure is the title of the script i have been given with our group. THe goal is to create a variation and our own interpritation of it.

Below is a quick storyboard with a image for each scene and some of the intial plans.

Tim Burtons - Alice In Wonderland

The storyline for the movie is a follow on of the first movie. As if Alice has returned to wonderland. The CGI in this movie is very powerful and emphasised by the 3D. In terms of special effects and visuals it is a strong piece. As a whole the film is a successful imageinative piece with vibrant colours and elaborate art. In attempt to make it a interesting piece it has been manipulated based on the original literiture.

Attitude - Local design company

This company is based in Nottingham, and is mainly a graphic design company. They specailise in branding, print design, web design, new media design and marketing stratergy. They are a small company and have done many projects for local buinesses such as the Galleries of Justice.

Designer - Chris Pallaris

The Terra Plana web design project

Chris Pallaris is a freelance multimedia designer and animator based in London. The website www.chrispallaris.com is a personal portfolio with a range of multimedia disciplines: web/ graphic design, illustration, 3D animation, film and photography.

History about him
He began working at microsoft then left to persue as a freelance designer.
In the past he has done work for companies and brands such as HMV, Orange, Terra Plana, Dickies, PSP, Amazon and more. This is a route i would like to take and follow the same path he has taken into web design.

I found the most appealing work amoung his porfolio was the web/graphic design. His work is unquie and original and has strong iconic values and each project fits the correct citeria making them all fit for purpose.

My Creativty

My creativty has taken numerous forms in the past few years, in many different fields. From photography and graphic design to animation. This has helped me to reach my goals and get where i am now.
Over the years i have learnt techniques and knowledge which has been inspired by designers and practitioners.

There has been a number of designers and artist i have looked at, who have inspired me and trigged ideas. I believe over the years people have influenced my work. In the future i hope to develop my skills and go into web or game design. This all depends on the route i take. At the moment i plan on taking Interactive Narrative out of the three areas.
